General Rules for Abstract Submission
A. All late abstracts will be selected for poster presentations by the Conference Committee and their advisors.
B. The Conference chairs reserve the right to decline presentations that lack scientific content or merit, or merely announce the availability of a resource or service.
C. There is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual may submit. The first (i.e., presenting) author's name must be the first author name to appear on the abstract. First authors are expected to be the individuals who will attend the meeting and make the platform or poster presentation. Authors who are unable to attend and make their presentation as scheduled are asked to notify the GSA Administrative Office immediately so that notation can be made in the program addendum.
D. If you need to revise your abstract, click on "Revise a Previously Submitted Late Abstract" found on the main menu. Note that revisions may be submitted now through midnight Eastern USA time on March 7. There will be no exception to the revision deadline of March 7, 2005.
E. To withdraw an abstract, e-mail the control number and title of the abstract you wish to withdraw to Marsha Ryan, meeting manager, at mryan@genetics-gsa.org by midnight, the night of March 7. No withdrawals will be accepted after March 7. All abstracts will be published in the abstracts volume addendum, and cannot be removed from publication after March 7 even at the request of the author and/or principal investigator.
F. The deadline for receipt of late abstracts is midnight, USA east coast time, March 7, 2005.
